Service Description

Yoga Therapy in the privacy of your own home, office, at my studio in Newtown or via Zoom. Yoga Therapy is a holistic approach to healing during which the therapist and client/s work together, one on one or in a small group, using the tools of Yoga to help the client/s to move towards health and wellbeing. Yoga Therapy is suitable for everybody, and all conditions. Usually, a Yoga Therapy session will consist of consultation, discussion and practice. Practice may include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) techniques, sound healing, meditation, mudra, mantras, crystals and other tools that might be used depending on the individual and condition. A practice will also be prescribed which the client will complete at home, as their own personal Yoga practice. This Yoga Therapy package consists of an initial consultation regarding the client's medical and health history and current condition. Before the session, a client intake form will be completed and given to the therapist. During the session there will be a short interview to clarify further information required, some assessments may be performed and a practice will be devised and shown to the client. This will be reviewed during a session a week later, and 3 weeks again. We ask that clients attend all 3 sessions to ensure the best chance for an effective treatment. Please allow an hour and half for the first session. Much care and commitment are given to each client's individual needs and practice, which may change over time.

Cancellation Policy

For classes and appointment, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up for your appointment or class, your session will be forfeited. For event and workshop bookings we require a minimum of 48hrs notice for changes or cancellations. Any cancellations after this time will result in 50% charge of the total cost. For teacher training please refer to the individual refund policy in the event description. We understand things happen, sometimes at the last minute. If there are extenuating circumstances please get in touch with us as soon as possible, so we can find a solution. Thanks for your understanding.
