I have been practicing traditional yoga for many years, but found it was not always accessible for corporate spaces to get everyone down on a mat. Being able to offer yoga on a chair in a corporate setting is a huge game changer in the health and wellness sector and I can't wait to deliver this wonderful practice to as many people as I can! My goal is to change the well-being space in workplaces with chair yoga, helping people become the best version of themselves.

Where I teach:

I hold Chair Yoga corporate sessions for Workscore in workplaces around Sydney.

After working for ten years in the education system, I immersed myself full-time into the teachings of yoga. As a yoga teacher and yoga therapist, I have experience in facilitating a variety of group classes, from kids at schools, teenagers recovering from drug and alcohol abuse, people managing the effects of Scoliosis, to the residents of an aged care centre. Moreover, I have worked privately with people experiencing various health conditions, such as cancer, anxiety and depression, Parkinson's and musculoskeletal injuries. With neurological disorders, stress management, mental health and the therapeutic application and integration of yoga as my major passions, my classical breath- centred approach caters for groups and individuals with various backgrounds, needs and goals. Having witnessed the healing power of this ancient practice for myself, I am fascinated by the unique story that each person writes and aim to guide every individual in order to explore ways that support, nourish and heal amidst life's challenges. Providing a respectful, safe and caring environment, I bring heart, warmth, knowledge and joy to my teaching.

Daniela teaches groups and privates across Sydney.

I love yoga and other types of movement, as well as being in nature, exploring outdoors, expanding my knowledge of psychology, mindfulness, Buddhism and personal development - all these interests help me lead more joyful, fulfilling and meaningful life. And I love sharing my passions as I believe they can help others too!  I have a deep desire to make positive impact and support others on their journey of improving their physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. I am certified to teach several styles of mat yoga and after finishing Clair’s Chair Yoga Teacher Training I started to teach senior’s classes for SHARE – non-for-profit organisation focusing on older adults. I absolutely adore my mature students! I am also a supporting teacher for charities Mood Active and A Sound Life focusing on helping teenagers and adults struggling with mental and/or physical challenges.

I am a qualified Vinyasa (Flow) and LV Chair yoga teacher. I am also a Reiki master. I have been practising yoga since 2000 at different gyms and yoga studios. I believe that yoga is for everyone, no matter how old you are, and what fitness level you are at. Everyone can practice yoga. Yoga has helped me to release stress. Through regular yoga practice, I have become more calm, relaxed and happier. I have also become more aware of my body and breath. I decided to become a yoga teacher because I want to make yoga available to more people and then more people can try to experience the benefit that yoga can give to them.

I am a passionate advocate for total wellness. Of the body and the mind and believe optimal health and wellness should be available to everyone. I am certified in several styles of yoga, partly because I am addicted to learning but also to offer the benefits of yoga to all. As Nutritionist, I help work with many people and help guide them back to a state of healing. Through yoga, I entwine both practices to provide a space for yogis to connect with themselves, discover their healing potential and strengthen their well-being to confront any challenge time might bring to them. Through yoga they can achieve clarity, focus, calm, stability and strength.

I signed up for a teaching course to initially have a deeper understanding of Yoga and the philosophy behind it.

A light went on and I decided I’d like to be a teacher. My hope was that I could encourage people to try Yoga and discover that it can be available to everyone.

I am a certified 200hr Yoga teacher and a LV Chair Yoga teacher. Currently I have combined both chair and traditional Yoga asanas which my students seem to enjoy. It’s great to get their feedback and see the joy on people’s faces when they realise they ‘can do Yoga’.

I started LV Chair Yoga because I was having difficulty with health and walking. I found the approach had more flexible options for me than conventional exercises and I could do it! After a month or two I found I was in less pain and could walk properly again and had a lot more energy.  I wanted to spread the word and so I became an instructor.

Where I teach:

I do classes by request in your business or organisation location, in Melbourne CBD and privately.  Come along and get fit where you sit!

Chair Yoga came into my life by pure chance the universe guided me to it really. While practicing floor yoga a thought came to me “how would those who can’t get down on the floor practise yoga?"

A wonderful friend  recommended Claire to me and as the saying goes the rest is history..

I also teach restorative, Yoga Nidra and meditation and  I am a qualified life coach

I'm a proud mother of three beautiful woman and four grandchildren. I write children's stories and bush walk in my spare time. I have always enjoyed a balanced life and kept healthy. Stressful jobs have challenged me and lead to me discovering Yoga in 2012. I  did my beginners class and life changed forever.  In 2014 I did my Yoga teacher training because I climbed to the roof of Africa and decided I can do anything- We can do anything one step at a time!

I've taught the teacher and students that I work with in state schools but the Chair Yoga resonated so much with me and I can't wait to share Yoga with the aged, chair bound and physically challenged. I have the staff at school ready to assist with my practice. I'm so excited about this new venture. So the first step is to put myself out there and let others know that I'm in Brisbane and ready to assist you to get fit where you sit.

Where I teach:

I am a certified Life Coach and LVCY teacher as well as a mat yoga teacher.

I am available for private or small group lessons in the Wellington/Kapiti area of New Zealand.

I started practicing yoga some 15 years ago and qualified to teach with the British School of yoga in 2012. I had been teaching several mat yoga classes a week for a couple of years when I developed osteoarthritis in my knee and hip. Following a knee replacement in late 2017 it became apparent that I was no longer going to be able to continue with mat yoga as I could no longer kneel and was very uncomfortable on the mat. Not one to be deterred I started to practice chair yoga for my own benefit, fell in love with it and decided to follow the chair yoga path for my teaching.
After a little research I found Claire and LVCY online and recently completed the course. I now teach two classes a week in the West Midlands in the UK and hope to teach more classes in the future.

Current classes are:
Tuesday 10.45 - 12.00 at the Church of the Ascension church hall in Wall Heath
Tuesday 2.00 - 3.00 at the Oakfield Centre in Brettell Lane, Brierley Hill.
